Who we are

PAUER SRL (RNC 133-54116-5), based in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, is responsible for the personal data collected on pauer.store, on go.pauer.store (PAUER Go) and through our support channels.

For any privacy matter, write to contact@pauer.store.

What data we collect

Purchases on pauer.store: name, email, phone or WhatsApp, delivery address and order details.

Purchases with PAUER Go (QR code counters): name and email, to send you the receipt and the tax receipt, plus the venue and counter where you bought.

Payments: processed by MIO. We never see or store your full card number; we only receive the payment confirmation, a reference and, if MIO provides them, the card brand and last 4 digits.

PAUER Go partner businesses: company and representative details (name, ID or RNC, email, phone), the bank account used to pay commissions and the evidence of contract acceptance (date, time, IP address and browser).

Browsing pauer.store: analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics, Meta, Microsoft Clarity) if you accept them. PAUER Go does not use advertising cookies: only the ones it needs to work (language and partner sessions) and an anonymous count of QR scans.

Contests, raffles and newsletters: the data you give us in the form (for example name, email, WhatsApp or Instagram).

What we use it for

To process and deliver your purchases, send you the receipt and the electronic tax receipt (e-CF) required by the DGII, and handle claims and refunds.

To pay partner businesses their commissions and meet our tax obligations.

To prevent fraud and abuse (for example, repeated claims or purchases with stolen cards).

To send you news and offers only if you subscribed; you can unsubscribe at any time from the link in every email.

To measure and improve our stores and our ads.

Legal basis

We process your data because it is needed to fulfil the purchase or contract you asked for, because the law requires it (invoicing and tax records), or because you gave us your consent (newsletters, analytics and advertising cookies, contests). You can withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what was already done.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. We only share it with providers we need to operate, who use it solely to provide their service to us:

MIO (payment processing), Garadix (electronic tax receipts filed with the DGII), Supabase and Vercel (PAUER Go hosting), Namecheap (pauer.store hosting), Resend (email delivery), Klaviyo (newsletters), Google, Meta and Microsoft (analytics and advertising on pauer.store, if you accept them) and our courier companies for deliveries.

When you buy at a PAUER Go counter, the business where the counter is located can see your name, your masked email (for example, fe***@gmail.com), what you bought and the time, to confirm delivery. It cannot see or download your full email.

We also hand over data to authorities when a law or a court order requires it, for example to the DGII.

Data outside the Dominican Republic

Some of these providers store data on servers in the United States. We choose providers with recognized security measures (encryption and access control) and ask them to use the data only for the service they provide to us.

How long we keep it

Purchase, invoice and payment records are kept for as long as tax law requires (currently ten years).

Newsletter data is kept while you remain subscribed. QR scan counts contain no personal data.

Everything else is deleted or anonymized once it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for.

Your rights

Under Law 172-13 you can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, or to stop using it for a particular purpose. Write to contact@pauer.store from the email you used with us; we reply within 10 business days at most.

Some data cannot be deleted early because the law requires us to keep it (for example, invoices).

How we protect it

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access restricted by user and role, change logs and backups. Only PAUER staff who need it for their work can see your data.

If a security incident ever affects your data, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.

Minors

Our stores are not aimed at people under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor gave us their data, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version here with its date. If the change is significant, we will also let you know by email when we have yours.
